Each bulb holds a tiny Christmas scene. Inside the clear shell sits a miniature tree, a sprig of berries or a snow-covered branch, and the warm LED behind it lights the scene from within. From across a room it looks like a row of glowing glass ornaments; up close there is something to look at.
Two ways to power it
Battery versions run on 2 or 3 AA cells, so the string can go anywhere — a mantel, a shelf, a wreath with no socket nearby. USB versions plug into any adapter or power bank and stay on continuously. The 3 m battery version has a flashing mode; everything else is steady-on.
